Welcome genteel fellow traveller on life's mysterious journey to our web site here at St David's, Tea Tree Gully, Adelaide, South Australia.
For readers who may not know, you are now entering a very beautiful suburb, for are not the Adelaide hills beautiful, our trees majestic, the lorikeets and their other feathered friends not very noisy as they squabble in the tree canopy for their share of flowering eucalyptus gum trees. You may also find yourself admiring the inactivity of a koala or two or three (with some envy as you go about your busy life) for they too make their home in our trees.
Are we not fortunate in that we are not far from CBD of Adelaide, or even the beach! As a faith community have we not got two beautiful churches in St David's (our parish church) and Our Lady of Hope at Greenwith, supporting us on our journey. The promise our parents made at the baptism of their children to bring them up in the knowledge and practice of the faith is very well supported by our three Catholic primary schools:- St David's at Tea Tree Gully, Our Lady of Hope at Greenwith and St Francis Xavier at Wynn Vale - plus our secondary school, Gleeson College at Golden Grove.
The Parish is supported by two priests, all members of the congregation of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Their names are: Fr George Ryan and Fr David Raj Francis and they come from India and Ireland - you try to put their names to their country of birth.
Why not drop in and meet the wonderful ladies who make the place hum. i.e. Denise Crawford - Office Manager/OHS&W or Colleen Hermann - RE Co-ordinator. If you require further information on the education front contact: -

St Francis Xavier: 8251 1644 - Principal Mr Joe DeTullio

Once again welcome to our website which is of course no substitute to meeting the people behind such a lovely scene.
With prayerful best wishes,
Fr George Ryan OMI
